Last Wednesday I was driving in a really strong rain storm. The passenger side door seals started to leak. Then the side airbag off light came on. After it dried out the light went off. In normal rain it does not leak.
Last winter I was driving while it was snowing really hard and the drivers side front door speaker started to short out, so I turned the radio off. Later after it dried, the speakers were fine. These problems have not appeared since. The airbag light really worries me. I might try using a water hose to reproduce the same airbag situation. Then if it happens during this test I will take it to a dealer for work that should be under warranty. My Fit is a 2009 with around 18k miles. The door seals should not be going bad on a car of this age or mileage. If the dealer BS's me, (like when I told them my seat was loose) I will call corporate. Then I might trade my car in for something without crappy felt carpet and non functioning airbags. I have been eying the Ford Festiva, but I would miss the magic seats.

It was raining and i had some of the windows open. And i think this is why the light came on. Its never come on before that. Vie had my Fit since march 2013. First time its happened.
