fan stopped working???
fan stopped working???
So today I went to turn on the a/c and lo and behold my fan stopped working, but only on the 1st-3rd settings. Maximum worked fine. I was told this is a relay issue.
Has anyone else had this happen? I'm getting aggravated because this is the 2nd annoying thing to happen to my Fit and it just cracked 1500 miles today.

It's not a relay issue, its a resistor array issue. It should be covered either by a warranty or goodwill, depending on the age of your car. With 1500 miles though, this shouldn't have happened.
There is a TSB for the 09 year cars for this same problem though. Check the thread here.

Yeah I took it last week and got it fixed. What year is yours? Cause I wonder if this will be an issue again for the '11s.
since it's a known issue with its own service bulletin i wonder what the chances are they'd fix it for free even after warranty??
i had the same thing happen to my old camry (certain fan settings not working). and not too many things failed on that car.

They wouldn't fix it for free for me, but its not that much of a PIA to do yourself.
They did recommend that I replace the motor assembly as well, but I didn't feel like dropping $100+.
Replaced the resistor array for $20ish and a half hour of my time a month ago and its working fine.
