Is there a scan tool for the 2011 Honda Fit at low price on the WEB? Where is the OBDII connector in the car?

 

OBDII scan tools are generic, my man- any scan tool will work on your Fit. The OBDII connector is under the driver's side dash, where they all are. By law, the port has to be within 12" of the steering wheel- Mark W.

 

Amazon has a bunch of cheap ones, though if it were me, I'd go with the ultragauge.

 

I got an $80 wifi OBD scanner on eBay. Works fine with my iPhone.

 

Got one of these for $11, then $5 for the torque app on my phone.

Found this on Ebay for $20. About as basic as you get. Will read codes and reset if you need. You can find what the codes mean with a simple search online.

My brother bought this exact one for his CRZ. Works great out of the box and even a free app available with a few less features if you don't want to spend the $5.

If I didn't already have a ScanGage II from 4 years ago this is what I would buy. Only downside is it ties up your phone and not a permanent mounted display. But at that price a steal.

I have the ultragauge in mine, and love it. It does code reading, but also does so much more. Can't beat it for $60.

The app is free and you run it on your phone.

I switched to this recently as I really like it. It’s super easy to use. Just plug the adapter in the OBD port and the app will find it and connect.
It reads hundreds of values in realtime from the car including trouble codes.

I’m using it with an ELM 327 BlueTooth adapter I got from ebay for about $20.

Thats the route i did. I use my phone as a scan gauge with the cheapy ELM327.

Some of those cheap ones do not work.
I can get PLX Devices stuff pretty cheap.

I have tested and used most of them. The last cheap good one just failed last week. "IDiag" ELM327
If you read up on the torque FAQ he also states the same thing and makes a list.
If they do work. The coms is painfully slow as well and with new ecu systems. You may not be able to access stuff on the ECU.

I ordered a Bluetooth OBDII , I plan to use it with either a Bluetooth Tablet attached to the dash or my android phone. It should be here next week, I will let you know what i think about it.

I hope to integrate a Nexus7 tablet into the fit We'll see how it all comes together.
