cheap obd2 scanners

hi!

wondering if anyone can recommend any current deals on cheap wired code scanners. Ive seen a bunch in the $10-15 range on ebay/amazon, but have seen scattered bad reviews, some mentioning fits not working with certain devices. i see pep boys has this- http://www.pepboys.com/product/details/1187614/17/

looks a lot like the $15 ones on amazon-are they basically all the same in that price range?

does the same go for the real cheap wireless ones from china?

I'd go for an ultraguage. It's only marginally more expensive and it does scan for codes plus a billion other things

I bought a cheap one with bluetooth some years ago and it lasted only a month. I eventually just borrowed one from a friend (an bright orange thing about the size of a small shoe) when I needed it for my previous ride.

In another thread someone was talking about something connected with automatic.com, it's expensive but seems to offer a lot of features. I'm going to ask Santa for something, probably the UltraGauge Blue, though there is something that looks new called the MX which also looking interesting but I'm not sure whether it supports the Fit and what it can really do.
