The Fit won the subcompact category, Civic and Insight tied for first in compact car category, the Accord won the midsize car category, the Element won the compact crossover SUV category, the Accord Crosstour won the midsize crossover SUV category, and the Ridgeline won the midsize pickup category.

I got one of these surverys in the mail about a month ago, and I had nothing bad to say about my 2011 base Fit.

Honda definitely does a great job with their vehicles.

Initial quality tracks the first 90 days. Sometimes initial quality predicts long term reliability and sometimes it does not. Honda has had some serious automatic transmission issues in the last few years.

After one year and 12,000 miles, my 2010 Fit has had zero problems.

ya, but thoase automatics are mostly the ridgeline and accords... not a superb vehicle like the fit. oh, and lol at the civic being a "compact" , the new accords look like monster trucks...

My fingers are crossed for reliability. I had an 03' Accord with 5 transmissions in it before 60,000 miles. Sold it after the fifth and Honda offered no good will to help me out. I vowed I wouldn't buy another Honda, but here I am.

The worst four are predictable - VW, Mitsu, Suzuki, and Dodge. Hahah!

My father's 2011 Fit had this issue. He took it into the dealer and said they fixed it. Although I never got information on what was causing the issue so I can't provide info there. Definitely take it in though and have it checked out.

I haven't experienced this on my 2010 thus far.

Thank you, theindiearmy. I often get intimidated when at dealership as the always act so.. stern... I'll hold my breath and take it in as you'd suggest.
My original plan was to wait until nearing the end if my 3/36 warranty then bring it in.
