Used Fit prices...

...are going nuts during this shortage.

Local dealer has a 2009 Honda Fit Sport Automatic (no navigation) with 16,909 miles going for $19,451.

That is $1,500 over what I paid for my 2011 Honda Fit Sport Automatic.

Cannot say as I'm surprised.

Back in March when I purchased mine I asked the salesperson if the expected a shortage due to the situation. His response "Naw, everything will be fine."

Fast forward to now... this same dealership has had NO new Fits for the last 2 months.

I'm so pleased I pulled the trigger a little earlier than originally planned on this.

I'm with you. I bought sooner than I planed in April Fit base/w auto $16K out the door.

I told her we should sell ours now, we could make about $1k on it. JIm 0311

I bought my 09 with 14k miles for 16 w/o tax & license. No dealerships had a new one on the lot, let alone finding a MT.

Just picked up an 09 Sport w/nav, Honda certified, 50,000 miles for $15,900. I thought it was a fair price. Parking my suburban and doubling my fuel mileage! Oh yeah, it is blackberry pearl too! I love that color!

It's amazing how these cars are going up in value.

I think gas prices, and also supply and demand are playing a big factor in prices. I bought my fit at carmax last year in October I've put around 8k miles and decided one night too swing by and see how much they would give me, i was surprised they were about to give me $500 less than what I bought it for
