Looking at a used 2010 sport/manual tonight
OK, its got low miles, like 10k, and says its a certified car, its at a Honda dealer, couple of questions please...
-Anything in particular I should check out or make sure that com with the car?
-How is the certified warranty, 100k miles bumper to bumper?
-We are negotiating on price right now, about a $500 difference, you think I could get them to throw in the Mugen axle back for the difference, anyone know what dealer cost is on one of those?

Certified usually means the dealer has carefully inspected the car and it meets their (or Honda's) standards for a certified car.
The warranty would be whatever the factory warranty is. 3 years, 36k miles bumper to bumper. 6 years, 60K miles power train.
Honda includes an extended warranty, 7 years 100k powertrain, and an extra 12 months 12k bumper to bumper on their certified used cars. (link to Honda's website)

I think it means "certified" according to HondaUSA's standards. Inspection and warranty. but read up. They may try to sell you an extended extended warranty too.
Certified means its less than 5 years old, under 50k miles and has had a 150 point inspection, and a clear carfax. I guarantee they will try and sell you an extended warantee since they will say something like its used and despite the inspection something could be wrong that they didnt see and you need to be covered for it, but dont fall for it.
It will have the rest of the factory warantee left and thats it unless you purchase the extra warantee.
As far as the mugen exhaust for the 500 i wouldnt hold your breathe because you will die before you get it. If anything go for a couple accessories like center armrest and mats or something.
Hope this helps

I bought it, got them down to $17k out the door, single owner sport manual 2010 with only 9,600 miles on it, appears to be as new with the $2k worth of dealer add ons like pinstripe, protection package, mats wity rubb cargo mat in back, and window tint. The also got me 5% financing through American Honda and its full Honda Certified Warranty to 7 yr/100k miles.
I'd say I got a great deal!
