I play from the USB but I'm only in the Fit about 10 minutes at most at any one time... I would have a hard time listening to 16GB of music let alone 8GB.

My music folder is greater than 35 GB, not including audiobooks, which is another 15 GB. I scoff at your puny flash card.

Nah... haven't filled my 8GB flash drive. When I need more than that I'll be using an iPod with playlists. (waiting for a 16GB iPod to show up in the lost & found at work - unclaimed for more than 90 days )

I am using a 8 GB ipod and could hear a distinct ipod sound superiority (IMO) over static flash drive/jump drive by cranking up ipod's internal equalizer bass booster

I could hear the difference right away.. the bass is deeper, more pronounced with clearer treble from the ipod......from my experience I have never switch back to jump drive or flash drive ever since.

Multiple flash drives, when I am tired of one I fill up the other, also have a smaller one that I can put new CD's and songs on....

It is hard enough to navigate as it is...can't imagine twice the capacity and trying to find one song or artist....

Don't need to carry all 200GB of my music collection at all times...just what I feel like listening to....

I am thinking back how technology had changed so drastically.

Some years ago, the cool thing was to have a 6 CD changer box installed in the trunk and having the ability to select songs from the 6 CDs was pure luxury

Some further years ago... the cool thing was an 8-track player in the car. Those 8-track cartridges were massive... comparatively.

Back in my Dad's era... the cool thing was a plain jane AM radio in the car. I'm sure if Dad was still around he'd be looking at my Fit in awe... wondering how it is possible a basic vehicle today comes with more equipment than his 1967 Chrysler New Yorker did.

IMO, Those 8 track tape cartridges sounds the best in its class of analog system back in their heydays....then came the inferior sounds of the cassette tapes
