Youtube through iphone connection

Hey guys so i have a honda sports fit without the navi and i was wondering if it was possible to play youtube through your iphone and have it playing in your car if your iphone is connected to the usb cord in the glove box. Because when i try it, itll play for only a second and then it will automatically start playing the song on my iphone...

Any ideas pleaseeee?

IF there was a pause button on the head unit it would work. the only way you can get it to work is with a jailbroken phone with NoAccessorySplash installed from cydia. that tweak will let you pause ipod.app from the phone itself then you can launch youtube w/o ipod.app interrupting.

Ding ding ding.

We have a winner!!

Yeah, you can output any audio source app, so long as you load it up AFTER connecting it the radio. That accessory screen only prevents you from browsing your music via the music app. If you have iOS3 or above, you can use search on the iPod/iPhone to play specific songs.
