I remember when car forums were for enthusiasts, not average consumers to complain like this is the official customer service line to Honda.
I can already see the future, the next thread will be about an annoying rattle coming from the glove box or a buzzing noise coming from the cowl area of the windshield.
With that out of the way, welcome.
BTW the aggressive lumbar support serves more to make leg room than anything else. The back bench would not have so much awesome knee room if the front buckets did not arch inwards as they do. Next time you are sitting in back feel the curvature of the back of the chair and how it matches the front, then imagine how little knee room you would have if that arch wasn't there. Anyway, the arch fits my back just perfect if I sit with good posture. It's really just trying to get that slouch out of your spine. Think of it as a free chiropractor.

Since no one has mentioned this - you did adjust the steering wheel for tilt and telescope right?
Just checking. I can't imagine differences in build being that great as to cause someone to have their knees up close just to reach the steering wheel, unless it was not adjusted.
Also losing the headrest is a big no no. It will screw up your neck big time.

yah, i can't stand driving the GE for more than a few hours max too. it's an uncomfortable car especially with the pedals so close to the driver seat.
my wife uses a wedge (memory foam 'wedge') under her butt while driving and it seems to help her from her lower back pain.
www.autosportcatalog.com has them.
