TEIN S TECH.....rubbbinnnn :/

Ive had these on my car for 3 months now, i like them but thinkin of switching them..even the small pot holes the driver side always seems to rub on the fender..i have to watch out for bumps everywhere in the road which SUCKS!

i was looking at eibach or swifts..any suggestions?????..i was thinkin about putting wheel spacers too..something so the wheels are flushed but arnt sticking out lookin crazy

but any suggestions would be nice im not too smart when it comes to this stuff

im assuming you have aftermarket wheels on? i never rubbed once with my stechs on sport wheels, or my current wheels (16x7 +40). maybe you should just start dodging potholes lol.

ill post some pictures of the drop later

The Teins are not likely the fault; its your choice of wheels offset. Any offset less than 45 mm is virtually assured of rubbing with any tire wider than 175.
The solution is not different springs but correct wheels and/or tires.

camber bolts ($20 on amazon) and an alignment is a cheaper fix than new springs. -1.5 camber is all it took to keep my front fenders from rubbing on 205/50/15 tires (15x7 +40 rims).

I would just do this.

It's probably just the tires and sidewall height. Those tires look super square.

i suppose so. my stock dunlops were 185/55, so maybe that extra height is doing it.

195/55x16 tires are 24.45" diameter, stock is 185/55x16, and stock wheels are 52 mm offset. Your photos do not look like a wheel with 53 mm offset but they do look like stock. You using spacers? If so and more than 6 mm (1/4") thats your problem along with oversize tires.

The diameter of the tire is likely the fault unless the wheels aren't stock offset.
If you drop back to 195/50x16 you have a good chance of success.

Sounds to me like you are only rubbing inside fender liner on fronts. Check tires for cuts.

True story. if it was the outside liner, you would see it chewed up a little in your second pic. if ANYTHING, a slightly lower offset (or spacer) would actually help you. Besides smaller tires that is..

Drop by your local speed shop and get a set of 1/4" spacers and install behind your wheels. That may be your easiest solution at a cost of $25-30.
