how slow is ur ge8?

ok in now way do i promote this kinda stuff, dont go do this, but if a man is challenged to a vtec battle only one with the wisdom of ivtec can he win....

i know its not a wrx but i pedaled this guy i let off and stuck to his bumper for fun, on the other note i no longer have my 15's so my gears feel longer this was nice because i ONLY RAN 4th AND 5th...

he used 3rd and i went behind him from the start, touge style if u will.

i want vids of ur fits being "slow" i will continue to add as time goes on but plz if ur ge8 is a track beast POST! i want to see ge8's "losing" to other cars....

i do not kno this guy his car shot alot of black smoke i lol'd and u can hear him continue to go after i let off, i caught him at the light and i told him i got him on video and will post to show every1 how slow a fit is.... this made him pretty angry but i got the launch and never saw him again...

I want to hear abot every1s ge8, I kno a lot of u are not into racing, its not really what the fit was for... but isn't it annoyin when people come up revin at u? Don't u just want to show them a lesson? Idk just my thoughts, I'm making a new intake mani. With little velocity stack (like itbs in a manifold) any wya I plan on having it almost 2-4in. Shorter then our plastic mani. This will increase where the tq and hp are delivered... I'm aiming for over 5000rpm... the fit seems to have most tq at 4800 rpm. So a 400 rpm boost will hold just a little more power when I rev out or shift up. (Since it doesn't drop past 5000 rpm while racing....) I kno it makes it hader to drive daily but who cares... I will use the stock runners since I want to pass smog... but that's whatever, I'm goin to gasket match with a slight "polish" on the runners when I have them off. This Thursday I think I'm goin to do the tb collant bypass and if I can find a catch can ill do a slight wire/vacuum tuck... I loves clean bays!

You realize the L15 is a horrendously ugly engine right? And people don' rev at a Fit if its not riced out/ruined.

Lol ur l15 using 12 valves is but not mine... the I in the ivtec seems like a lie. So it really is like a new day d series.... but with better mpg and not as noisey, I had a d16z6 loved it! So idk what crack ur smokin but I don't want any, I have an idea of what this engine can do na and turbo. Its enough to keep me happy and beat wrx :P

Both False!
I love the L15, even more than the k20 (which is ugly, but obviously more performance oriented).
mike410b... why do you try to start drama with people, how do you assume his fit is riced out/ruined?
i hope someone puts you in your place with a l15 fit...

I-vtec is real in our SOHC L15's, do some research... not trying to bash you but instead inform you of some valuable information about your car
