So where did you buy yours? Were they expensive, easy to install? I apologize if this has already been asked before.

I believe I got mine the same place as that Ebay one.

Install here https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...s-winkers.html

It is a bit of work.

Those covers also have besides the orange signal a blue light to use as side marker. I ran the wires to inside of car but did not bother to hook them up.

There is no arrow on mine. I suppose you could easily add them when putting the covers on. Those arrows just stick to mirror.

It is a lot of work. Took me three mornings. Scary part was prying mirrors out.

Hard parts was popping new covers on. I still have one clip on one mirror out of about 8 on each mirror that is not fully seated but going to leave it alone as it is not noticeable and has survived car wash brushes OK. Next hard part was pulling the wires through the existing wiring from door to body.

Takes patience and not a two hour job. More like an all day for sure. But it is rewarding.

The installation you linked to shows a real Honda part... the one that's on eBay isn't. I wonder if there's something different about their part... doesn't need all that wiring maybe. They say their part is easy to install. Sent them a message on eBay.

It's still the same install for either the Honda part, or the aftermarket link you posted. The only difference is price, and quality (debateable).

Definitely a lot of work, but did you see the DIY for the autofolding feature in the same thread? That's making it a lot more work, but well worth it in the end. Hopefully I can get that done in the Spring.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the installation photos were of a folding side mirror. You'd think the wiring for signal is there, behind the mirror, seeing how some versions of the Fit/Jazz have the blinkers on the side mirror.

USDM Fits do not have the signal wiring in the side mirrors, which is why the DIY shows how to do it from the other location. Other markets come with the LED side mirrors/auto-fold & LED stock from Honda.

btw only the 1st page in the DIY is for the LED sides w/ signal blinker (niko's posts). Intro on pg. 7 & full DIY on pg. 8 (FITMugen's posts) are the additional steps to wire the autofold feature.

This is an old thread, but I was wanting a set for my car. I was wondering if anyone still has a set, and if the quality is still holding up (paint and led). Also is the led bright? Thanks
