Theoretically one could invest 5Gs today and have 30Gs five years from now.

So, for someone in their early 20's this might allow them to retire 10 or more years earlier than originally planned.

You can still have fun now and fun later with careful planning.

Oh wait... this isn't the financial planning forum.

$5,000? Use that and the fit on trade in to spring myself into a 2012 WRX without strapping myself.

With all things considered I know this is what I would do as well.

I think the title should be "what
would you do with $5000 if you HAD to spend it on your Fit" --- just to keep all these intelligent answers out of here haha

I have over $5000 in my checking account, my car is paid off my land will soon be, I have a mess of parts to install on my car, I start drawing social security in 4 months, it hurts me to move even though I take morphine 3 times a day and I go days at a time without sleep.. I really like my dog though, he likes me too even when I haven't bathed in a week.
