ever since i first cut off the stock muffler and got an axleback made, my fit back fired in between shifts and with sudden changes in the throttle. i since then have kept changing the exhaust and now is a full cat-back exhaust with no muffler or resonator and the back-fires have became louder, and i recently noticed that when i put chevron with tekron (91) octane the backfires are even louder. i also have found that 91 octane from 711 or arco, do not create such loud backfires, this is also true with shell for some reason the backfires are very quiet, when i mean very quiet i mean realitively LOUD! some ff members have heard my vehicle and many people tell me the backfires are sex!

 

hey data logging members, can u try a full throttle run, then a 1/2 throttle run and a 1/4 throttle run, through the rpms. then can you try rappid changes in throttle and tell me if anything funny shows up? just wondering
