2010 EPS light on/power steering failure

Hi! I have a 2010 manual Fit Sport. Last weekend, I was driving for about 10 minutes, when suddenly the EPS light came on and the power steering failed and the car became very hard to steer. I pulled over, read the manual, turned car off and back on and everything was fine for the rest of that 2 hour drive and the rest of the weekend. This past weekend I drove about about 5 times, and each time, the same thing happened, sometimes twice on one drive! Each time, I would turn the car off and on and it would reset, but I'm scared the power steering will go out when I have to turn or something like that.

Has anyone else been experiencing this and/or know if it's covered under warranty?

It should be covered under warranty if you have less than 36k miles...

I haven't seen anything on here related to EPS failures/problems...

Luckily it is covered by warranty, thank goodness. They had to order a control module for the power steering. They say it's safe to drive until the part comes in (it's taking longer than they thought), but I'm going to play it safe and leave it there until they can fix it.
