New windshield install issues?

I got the second new windshield in my Fit, and a while later looked and found that both bottom corner moldings were missing. I called Safelite, and they ordered new ones without question. Funny thing, she said that this happened all the time with Fits. Had the part number readily available. I have been wondering if they break a pin or clip when removed for the new windshield, or is there some other issue that makes them fall off.

that's just a major inconvenience. their staff appears to be uninformed and repeats the problem over and over again.

Actually, it wasn't just the staff of that store. The corporate office is the one I talked to. The guy just installed them 5 minutes ago. Apparently there is a small clip that breaks or falls off, and unless they loook closely, they don't catch it. They should, but how many Fits does one guy work on? Anyway, they fixed it quickly, and that is all I can ask for.

A+ for what seems like awesome customer service at least.

A+ if they would've done it right in the first place.
