Recent mods and pics of my 11 PMM Fit

It has been a while since I post some pics of my PMM Fit so recently I decided to redout the stock tailights and added the Mugen front grille and finished it off with the 3M paint protection clear bra to keep it fresh and chip free. I didn't like the idea of doing the vinyl overlay so I wanted something permanent and it looks like it came from the factory. I only painted the upper portion of the tailights to get rid of the clear stuffs and leave the bottom stock just the way it is so after some research I decided to go with the Dupli-color metalcast anodized red with 5 coats and then 3 coats of the dupli-color premium automotive clear to protect it then follow it off with 2000 grits wet sand and buffed it off with the Meguiars polishing compounds, the wet sand processed is a must because this is where you get the smooth and to get that mirror like finish. It cost me a total of less than $20 to do the tailights so rather than spending $$$ to do JDM lights or the depot ones and the end result is totally worth it and put a smile on my face. Below is a link to my previous thread of my car. Now all I need is to swap out those ugly chrome headlights for some black ones.

Dig the car, especially the bumper and rims. Nice work. Makes me wish I could have got a Sport.

Yep...saw it on Penn Ave in Lawrenceville around then. First modded GE8 I'd seen in person, and when I saw it I freaked out lol...I had just gotten mine and it made the mod bug bite that much harder! Now I have wheels, tires and coilovers on the way and I can partly blame you for all the money I've spent on mine...definatly inspired me.

Nice job. You can do a whole lot yourself for minimal cost if you just take your time and do it right. Well done.
