Saw the new NAVI interface on the 2012 model, what are your thoughts? How is the phone bluetooth interface and the new positioning buttons?

 

looks about the same as the Insight II. And I suspect you can probably retrofit the bluetooth controls into the older GEs since the steering wheel has replaceable panels there too.

 

i have the 2012 nav in my fit sport and i like it a lot compared to my old cars navigation and my wires bmw navigation. my only gripe is that when fully zoomed in only a handful of street names are displayed(you can position the crosshair to find out unlabeled street names). the bluetooth works well with my iphone4s, calls are clear and the phone connects in a few seconds after i start the engine. pandora streams perfectly too(unlimited data FTW)

 

Burrito, I am glad to hear that your iPhone 4S works well with the factory NAVI system because my Jawbone ERA doesn't work well with the 4S.

Goobers, do you have any data on doing the conversion of bluetooth. Sometimes I can use my aux input to run the call audio through the stereo, except for the microphone, which works ok if my bluetooth is low on batteries.
