My name is many and I'm new to the forum, I know I'm suppose to use the search bar to see if there were any previous thread but I didn't find any post.
Here's my question
I've seen the threads on the old center armrest on eBay and that it sucks but there is a new one. Has anyone purchase it yet and if so is it sturdy and I would also like your opinion on it.

 

Which new one are you talking about? a link would help. I HEARD the ones that fold up are not sturdy. I bought this one and its fine. Doesn't come with the cover to hide the SPORT stock armrest like the ZETA but it was half the price. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ml#post1073673

I think that's the one people complain about. have you seen these pictures?

 

On a side note, I just noticed something disturbing. When I bought that armrest it was 50AU which was 52$US funds, since then its still 50AU but thats 53.41$ in US funds. So the value of our dollar dropped that much in 2 months using the 'paypal' conversion? jeez

 

No I didn't see that but that one is the older one. They say the new one is sturdier.

 

I think they both have the plastic tabs and slots, but at least the newer version you don't have to make a hole in the car. Having a folding armrest is better if you have a manual transmission so you can fold it up to shift. I think the OEM honda one folds up, if I had a manual I would have bought that over that cheap folding one.

 

Thanks for showing me the plastic clip on the armrest from china, I've been thinking about it and if it's still available in a week I will get the same one you got if not them im going to go with the oem armrest.
