GE Window Visors DIY Video

Ask and you shall receive... I posted on another one of College Hills Honda's videos asking them to do it. And less than a week later...bam!

YouTube - Episode #227 - 2nd Generation Honda Fit Door Visor Installation

I'll be doing mine this weekend!

Lol I just did mine. Took probably an hour as I went really slow, lined everything up and made sure it was perfect. They look awesome and it's really not as hard as Hondas directions try to make it. I will post pics later.

Can't wait for pics!

Have you heard any additional noise with the visors installed?

dunno why they pulled out the run channel in the front, the clips go in pretty easily.

plus, I find that putting in the four clips first is easier than trying to get a clip in after the visor is stuck on.

I did it like they did and didn't have a problem. I did realign and test fit a few times before removing the adhesive and installing clips.

Unfortunately, I didn't do the whole align/realign part for one side, so the front and back don't line up for that side. But the other side lines up. =.='

I did these a few weeks ago. If I could do it all over again I wouldnt even bother with the ept sealer. Total waste of time. I put them on my parents 2012 insight and didnt install the sealer.. no difference.

Lol. Even though my instructions were in English, they might as well have been in Japanese. It was confusing but once you get going, it's not too bad.

I've tried like hell over the years to like the look of them, but I just don't. Same with the body side moulding. Sometimes at some angles they look cool, but for me these two accessories don't enhance the look for the better. But...that's just me.

Two? Visor and..?

Well, I like the look and practicality of it.

edit: oooohhhhh, apparently, i can't read. thanks to malraux's following post I see it now (oddly enough, I'm tired as hell and shouldn't be able to see the broad side of a barn).

Body side molding protects against dings. It's not aesthetics it's functionality. Similarly the visors do something.
