I need help!!! suspension question!
So im in the market to buy coilovers, i currently sit on springs...
during the install of my springs my front passenger strut experienced a serious problem, as i placed the bolt back on on the top of the strut, it stripped so badly the thread of the strut that it wouldnt go all the way down to bolt it securely and furthermore could not unscrew either, its stuck there... trust me, my question is, HOW DO I REMOVE IT!? lol
i dont want to buy coilovers if i cant install them, has anyone had this issue? and if so how did you remove it? i cant imagine finding a bolt cutter or something to fit in that tight space under the window to cut it...

I had to cut mine off when I was replacing struts and springs on mine and want to warn you that it you choose to cut it, make sure you dont need the bearings or other parts in there. I would even say make sure you dont want the strut since it might degrade its performance
The heat from cutting transferred to the strut to the point where the bearing plate opened and bearings and grease pushed out. I would have to imagine the inside of the strut warmed up also....
another idea is to buy an extra socket and glue/weld it over the threaded nut...then socket or impact wrench it....
either way good luck, nothing worse that when you find yourself on an episode of "When DIY goes wrong"
