2012 Sport vs Sport w/ Nav

Is it worth it to get the Sport w/ Nav?
Is the 2012 Nav system working well?
I tried searching for it on the forums but could not see any info on the 2012 Nav system and if people like it.
If you have it, do you like it?
The integrated BlueTooth sounds good too.
Any opinions on either of these?
Thank you in helping me decide witch model to get.

Alot of fit owners have an aftermarket one including myself. Its about 1k cheaper than the OEM one.

I have two different Hondas with built in navis. They have some dumb limitations like difficulty finding the nearest Walmart. I don't know if the 2012 navi works substantially different from the 2010 or 2004 ones, but it's worth trying one to see of you'd rather buy an aftermarket one. Personally I still like the advantages of oem built in, but there's likely a major price trade off.

I have an aftermarket Garmin on my Fit Sport. Seems as though I need to update the maps on my GPS a few times a year (I bought a model with free lifetime updates)--I do not know how often you would need to update a built in Navi system or how much it would cost.
Personally I prefer the look of the dash with the radio on the Sport and Base models. I find a large Navi screen distracting.

The oem one updates yearly. It's typically $100-$150. There's little reason to update yearly though, unless you either travel a lot or the roads in your area have changed.

Personally, the larger screen and the way it's tied into the car's audio system are what I like about the oem navi, plus steering wheel controls.

I did a video on it. Maybe it'll give you some insights- see my sig link. When it got BT, I was in. So far the oem navi system has been excellent. I LOVE the big screen! Phone through the system is great. Navigating tunes is great. Navigation and searching is great. Voice commands is great. Maybe I'm easy to please, but I like the oem and the integration. Some of the features being blocked while driving, for safety reasons, can be a pain. Nothing is ever perfect. But for me it's been great.

Thanks for the help everyone!
I'll check out the video.
Good to hear about the phone too!
We are in a county that you are not allowed to have aphone in your hand while in the car (including stop lights).
I really wanted one that was built in because I think it looks better. Just did not know if it was a bad Nav system. I am going to go check it out at the dealer and play around with it.

We're in the same situation. I am also looking for a Sport with Navi. I hope the navi works better now than my friend's 07 Accord. Every time we use the search function for something near by, it would suggest places that are in another state As far as giving directions, it works very well.

the fit with Navi is really good, if you can afford the extra expense, it's the same Navi system as the 2012 Civic.
very good bluetooth connection and it's a great option,
seems to be a rare combination too, haven't see any around yet, just one post on the boards so far about one
