Depends on if you are changing oil and filter or just oil. 3.6l first way and 3.4l second way, I'm almost positive, but I don't have the manual in front of me. I may be off by -.2l each way.

Engine oil Change1
Including
filter
3.8 US qt (3.6 L)
Without
filter
3.6 US qt (3.4 L)
Total 4.4 US qt (4.2 L)

1: Excluding the oil remaining in the engine

Its a good question if you don't have an owners manual or capability to look it up on line.
I'm sure by now someone has pointed out the oil change with filter change (which shoukld ALWAYS be the case is 3.8 us quarts. If you are heavy on rpm or heavy on mpg 3.7 qts is better to make sure the oil and crank haved as much free space for air to pass back and forth as reasonable. (surely you must realize your engine pumps air back and forth between cylinders that your engine has to work to do)

people are being mean because they want to try to teach you on how to find this information yourself, instead of being spoonfed, so you can be knowledgeable and know the process of how to find answers, instead of just the answers.
So next time when you ask, according to Honda, what PSI should I have my tires, what is the torque for my wheels, what fluids and spark plugs I am supposed to use, *you know where to find that stuff.

The whole analogy of teaching someone to fish goes here.

It's in the back of your user's manual. Why was it be so hard to look it up? If you don't have a manual, you should get one, either from dealer, or ebay sometimes has "lost" manuals cheap.

I don't think he was being mean at all...he just stated the obvious. I mean really, how can one not have a manual for a car that's only been out 3-4 years?

Hey thanks guys. This makes the answer so easy to find with a search. Manuals, ewwww paper.(actually I usually check manuals because most of the people who answer quickly don't actually know, and are just trying to feel important.) Stream of consciousness rant was fun.

Or download the PDF of the manual and keep it on your smartphone. Heck, if it weren't so ungainly, I'd keep the FSM there too.
