Aftermarket gauges/cluster

Going blind researching for aftermarket instruments/gauges. (oil press./water temp/Volts) Thought about making a pod, but not on the side trim with the air bag inside it, don't want to get clocked by a flying gauge. Anyone?

I thought the oe trim was designed to not clock the driver in the event of a deployment... in that case, why not make sure it opens up the same way oe would.

I wish mugen (or anybody) made a version of their "assist meters" that was the mirror image of this to fit on LHD fits.

Scroll down past the killer recaro seats to see it here:

I think that you should check out the ScanGauge.. It has readouts for about anything that has sensors feeding info into the ECU and will also tell you what the code is for a problem that sets off the check engine light.. There are similar products being sold now that have more features... I have mine set up to show intake air temperature, ignition timing, coolant temperature and throttle position... It has numerous other readouts that take only the push of a button to access.. There is no oil pressure gauge on it though..http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...l_7lq3gndd85_b

Dang it Hayden that stuff looks great.... They probably don't have pods like those for my GD3... The little ScanGauge on the far left is a wonderful and entertaining tool I have enjoyed using for about 3 years or a little longer... There are more costly gauges that give you acceleration ETs that would be great to get an in the ballpark tune before going to have the car dyno tuned...

I'm getting an ultragauge this month to mainly watch intake temps and timing advance. Will be using our ridiculously consistent summer weather patterns to experiment with different setups, and fuel () to see if the ecu will play along. I think there is a little dot that shows up on the display when the system is in closed loop too. Expecting to be disappointed. lol
