Body Side Molding

"johnnyHT; I'm debating between the Zeta vs OEM."

By ALL means, if you care about such things, get the molding. I liked the look of the Zeta, better than OEM. If you shop around on eBay, you might find OEM a bit cheaper than Zeta, but mostly they are more expensive.

I was never interested in body side moldings on any other vehicle (22 of them over 45 years) until I bought my first Fit. Hated the look of the skinny OEM moldings, but I was offered a free set of wide ones as a product tester by Zeta Products when they came out with their wide moldings. So I put the wide ones on my BOM GD Fit and actually loved the look. The Fit is so tall with such a slab-sided appearance, I think that moldings addd an attactive accent. The GD got wrecked, and was replaced with a '09 GE. My liking of wide moldings from Zeta Products is even stronger with the larger size of the GE Fits.

In the Zeta web site pages concerning the side moldings, the BOM GD, AND the BBP GE in the photos are both my vehicles.

I thought they'd look a lot worse than they do, at least they made an attempt to make them flow with the car and look decent, instead of some random strips on the door.

That being said, i'm not really a fan aesthetically, but I can understand their benefit in function.

Here is an SSM with side mouldings.

They can also help when you open the door against a hard object. Super easy install too.
