I want a license plate cover that won't scratch...

Hi,

I am looking for a license plate cover that will not scratch the
paint behind the cover (the rear plate)...

Any suggestions?

Jerry

Masking tape under the frame. Rubber washers between frame an plate. Foam weatherstriping stuck to plate. Buy one that mounts on back of plate and doesn't touch the front. Paint one on with plastidip design your own peel off when done.

Use the OEM bracket, but obviously don't drill into the bumper using the center bolt. :P

Put some a piece of clear 3M tape (the type you'd get for a clear bra) behind it where it may contact the bumper. You can buy small pieces of this material at a local Autozone/Pep Boys.
