Swift Springs

So I am about to test out swift springs! Assuming they are as great as everyone on here says they are....... any objections/suggestions? I was also thinking about trying out the TRmotorsports C1 wheels any thoughts on those and/or tire size and tire? I'm looking for a decent 16x7 wheel......

I don't think they totally transform the vehicle or anything. To be honest, I could take an offramp faster on the stock suspension with gripy tires. Still tuning the setup, and the rear sway. Tire pressures play a huge role in this car's handling. Way more so than any other vehicle I've owned. With the rear sway, my overall grip has not increased, which it shouldn't really, but instead, has been transferred to the front, so cornering speed through the first part of the turn is not much increased, but rotation is.

What I don't gain in speed, I gain by being in a better position on the fastest driving line. Powering out of corners is MUCH improved, and perhaps the biggest benefit to the rear bar in addition to the springs. It was almost like adding a LSD, but the springs help keep some of that weight from shifting to the rear under acceleration. Both items helped.

Those TRs are what the b-spec racers run on their fits. Should be fine if you stay over, or right at around a +45 offset.

So what your saying is initialy on your turn in you have understeer mid way threw the car begins to rotate and then mint on the exit? im not really trying to make it a race car just make it a litle more stable and more to my liking. im sure one day i will just buy coilovers (stances) but as for now im just looking for a little more stability for a dd and plus i want wheels and tires cuz the stock tires are JUNK!!!!!!!! lol

Swifts are great...not amazing. They also don't have a ton of drop, which is the point...not effing up your geometry like me

I'm saying initially you have oversteer before and heading into the apex, and then are pointed better at your exit, where you start to make a bigger difference in the cornering speed. My car is ready for more power, that's for sure.

The Swifts are as good as advertised I also run the Progress RSB and 205/50/16
Kumho Ecsta 4X

The handling is confidence inspiring and nothing like stock IMO
If you don't need a summer tire go with a good ultra hp A/S tire along with the light weight TR wheels.
