No offense. Just didn't look like it from your post. With every 2 cents, we get closer to a dollar...

Recovered my money!

Went back to my original Honda dealer who said I needed
the 4 new coil packs and asked to speak to the service
manager. He met me and we went into his office, I proceeded
to show him original bill that had them charge me $100 for there
diagnosis and the bill of $250 from the other dealer who did the
valve adjustment and said that the coils were not the issue. Told him
I felt cheated and lied to and he promptly credited my money back
to me. So we have told hold these service managers accountable
for what there technicians diagnosis. By the way I had to replace the
battery yesterday, but I went to Pep Boys and got a Bosch with a 3
warranty for around $150.00. 4 years on original battery isn't to bad.

my mechanic says mine was a fuse box issue

Hi, I had this exact same hard-cold-start issue with a newly acquired high mileage 2007 Fit sport. I expected it to be valve adjustment; my mechanic said he initially thought I had a bad relay in my fuse box, but ended up concluding my fuse box itself was bad and he had to re-wire my fuse box with some custom wiring of his own design including fusible links. This solution made me nervous, but now the car starts and runs flawlessly. (I also created a new post about this in the forum in case anyone has feedback about my mechanic's solution.)
