Just picked up a set of Recaro R505's for a killer deal. Now I need some rails. Anyone have a good suggestion on where I could pick some up? This is my first set of racing seats and am not sure what rails are compatible with what seats. Any input is appreciated!

^^you are exactly right sorry. I will have pics up soon, dont have a camera on hand right now. Id like to post installed pics up more than anything as soon as i find some rails.

 

Just need a bottom mount type of rail. These are made by both Bride and Recaro and I'm sure there are quite a few other options out there as well.

 

last I heard from Bride... jdm rails don't line up with usdm mounting holes. this was confirmed by More Japan too.

so what I'm trying to say is... get rails that are for usdm fit.

 

Good info TEO. That's interesting really. Wonder why Honda would have changed the mounting points for the seats between the 2 considering the belly of the car is the same. Well in reality I guess it isn't if the seat rails don't align. They use the same exact seats but different mounting holes. Crazy.

 

It was really annoying when I was looking for rails for my brix II. wedge eng rails was ridiculously expensive so I ended up modding the Bride rails (rails was for an s15) to fit. as for why they jdm and usdm have different mounting holes but it could be that the average american is larger than their asian counterpart???
