Megan exhuast ?

Anyone used the Megan axles backs on the GE. Curious what the sound diff is between the OE style and the N1 style. Any sounds clip would be great.

From what i've seen and heard Megan products rank only slightly better than random ebay knockoffs, fitment and quality issues. Exhausts sound like a weld-on canister muffler.

I would buy them if nothing else was available, but you have much better choices with the Fit. Since it's mostly just a noisemaker on the Fit anyway, you might as well spend the extra money and get something that sounds good.

I've got the OE-RS model on my GE8. What a long f*cking story, this exhaust...

It sounds great, and gives a fairly decent little spike in mid range torque. It pops and burbles a little bit. Doesn't sound much like a bolt on canister to me!

About that long story....

They are JDM/Asian fitment, all of them. Unless they redesigned it, like they said they would, which I really doubt. If you buy one, make sure you are prepared to fab up some longer hangers. It will be a few inches short of the end of your bumper. You will melt stuff if you don't get it far enough away right after installation. The hardware that comes with it doesn't fit either, so have some washers and primer handy.

Kind of glad I'm through all that, because I don't think there is another system I'd like better. Maybe I'll get some sound clips for yall.
