Clazzio Seat Heater Kit

Hey everyone. Just got my new seat covers and heater kit from Bean Garage. Has anyone installed the seat heater units? The directions say to just stick them to the original seats, I image after they units get hot, that will create a permanent stick mess on the original seats, something I would like to avoid. My ideas are to stick them to the INSIDE of the seat covers before install, OR simply stitch them to the inside of the covers (being extra careful not to touch any of the heating wire elements of course). They do not appear to be directional with the heat, but maybe they are so attacking them to the inside of the covers might not be an option. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this? Thanks so much!

I am very interested to hear from anyone who has installed the seat heaters as well. I should be installing my clazzio's in the coming weeks and I am planning on installing the seat heaters at that time. Any info is appreciated!

Yeah...You know I installed the back seats last night and the LOOK AMAZING! I went with Vinyl, Black Outer, Grey Insert, Grey Stitching. So, I am dying to install the fronts. I think I just might today and go ahead and install the heaters as directed. You are right, why would I ever remove them. They are so custom for the FIT they would be useless for any other application.

Okay, I installed the warmers. They stick to the seat, but are not that sticky. The directions say once they are placed they will be difficult to replace, which was not true for me. I unstuck and stuck them back to the seats a couple times to get the placement I wanted. I installed the front seat covers and everything looks great. I mounted the controlled for the seats right underneath the parking break (i have a base, so it's a useless area right there) I bought some of that 3M removable sticky velcro. I tried them out already, get good warmth. Nice products all around.

I have had Ebay heaters under my Clazzios for 6-7 years now. The driver side quit 2 or 3 years ago so I replaced it. I suspect one of the wires broke. It came out OK but cannot recall what the original seat cover looked like. It worked fine this pass winter.

They do take a bit of time to warm up as the Clazzio is kind of thick but then I have no experience with a factory heated seat in any car to compare.

A worthwhile mod. Best winter mod is upgrading to a 51R battery. Yea!! I started every time this past winter.
