Sweet! Thanks a lot. Definitely going to take a gander on things to buy. Sadly my future mod list is growing too big lol. LED Tails and dome light, home made short ram, strut bar, VIS duckbill lol. Slow mods, slow mods lol. Oh and not to mention the KYB acx that I want to add in the summer.

seriously having difficulty buying at rakuten this time. the vendors that sell the item i want only appears to accept bank transfers. come on i want to spend my credit. the one that appears to accept paypal is not responding to any of my emails.

now i can try this another way. the same vendor is on amazon.jp, and there it appears you can use any credit card, since i believe amazon will act as the middle man so they get their money. whack how the same vendor is on both sites and payment is a bitch.

if i go through amazon i lose my stupid tenso coupon! gah!

Try to ask him if he can buy it for, then resell it to You, may be He can get a better price + the shipping cost from him is reasonable.

I've had that same problem with some Rakuten vendors who didn't take my preferred form of payment. In that case, I would use a buying service. They do international shipping like Tenso, except they will buy the item for you as well. This way you don't have to worry about the form of payment. This is the buying service that I used:

Purchasing Japanese items and delivering straight to your door!?FROM JAPAN LIMITED

Their buying costs are very reasonable and their shipping costs are somewhat on par with Tenso. It shouldn't be that much more expensive to go this route vs Tenso. You can also use the website to make bids on Japanese online auctions as well. They have a pretty neat "sniper bid" option too. One thing I really liked was how they were very clear about how they would automatically refund any unused funds deposited after 10 days. I've used them twice, once for an auction and once as a buying service. I've been very pleased with the service both times.
