I love my car! Purchased new in 3/11, has approx 19K miles, automatic transmission. Has developed a slight, occasional rattle (or vibration) that is really strange. Most often heard upon taking off from a stop, or on left turns or left curves. Sounds like it's coming from under the car near engine. The rattle is not in the car cabin.

The car runs fine except for this, has checked out fine at oil changes & at 15K service. I average 29 mpg around town, have gotten up to 41.6 highway. I use my cruise control as much as possible. The car gets pretty gentle wear.

Has anyone else had a problem like this?

I had a VW Golf decades ago that had a weird rubber clamp for the tail pipe that would stretch with wear and the pipe would rattle making a similar sound. Does anyone know if FIT's have anything like this?
