Trunk Panel Removal

I've read and seen posts on how to remove front and rear door panels, but does anyone have any idea on how to remove the trunk door panel of a GE '09? I have a 12-inch sub in the back that creates a lot of rattling. I would like to remove the panel so I can add some foam material to problem areas.

Any advise on how to remove the panel without damaging it would be awesome.

Pull hard! Haha. In all seriousness, pop the hatch, and start near the base. Clips are easy to break, so be careful.

Take your time. Go over everything to make sure there are no hidden screws. Look around the wiper motor, there is bound to be a hard clip or bolt for the motor

Or go on youtube! Ive seen people with fiberglassed sub boxes mounted to the hatch!

When I had my hatch cover off to do the JDM wiper mod I started up by where the window meets the upper hatch cover. I used a long flat-bladed screwdriver to pop the first one and looked to see where the rest of the clips were. If memory serves correct there are two clips dead center that don't pop, and I had to just yank on the hatch cover to get it to release.
