Hi. Just bought a 2013 base Fit last week. First time I used the USB connection with my iPhone 4s, I was able to stream the NPR app fine. No aux cable necessary, the sound played through the car speakers perfectly.
Tried again today, a week later, and there was no audio through apps (Safari, Soundcloud, Rdio, NPR, Google Maps). Tried it with my phone and a brand new iPhone 5. Checked the connection, multiple cables, and different hardware (iphones). Can anyone help?

 

For full mobile compatibility the Iphone requires an Icar. Of course this locks you into buying Igas and Ityres and limits you to travelling Iways.

(I use a $8 usb memory fob and wmp and never have had a single issue.)

 

Is you iPhone Bluetooth turned on? If so, try turning it off and conducting your test again. I added a Bluetooth hands free device after Christmas and started having similar issues.

 

Bluetooth is/has been off. I appreciate the suggestion!

 

It's Apple's buggy software. We can only hope that when iOS 6.1 is released in a couple of weeks that these issues will be resolved. I'm not holding my breath.
