The only difference from 2012 to 2013 is that the heater unit/blower is slightly different. I have no idea why though. I only know this cause I've been researching for my climate control conversion.

Are the blowers different? Isn't that the part that goes bad?

Good, hopefully they finally addressed the issue of failed blower motors by changing the parts.
