Quality Accessories For Today's Hottest Vehicles., that uses the rear cup holder as the mounting point. The same armrest is also available from various Asian marketers on ebaymotors.com at a similar price. Owners of these armrests seem to be pretty happy with them, and no holes need to be drilled.

One main difference between the OEM Honda and cheaper plastic armrests is, if you are doing aggressive canyon carving and the armrest gets in your way, the Honda one can be flipped up vertically between the front seat backs, and then flipped down again when you need it. But the plastic ones have to be removed and tossed into the back seat.
Actually, the aftermarket one I bought can be flipped up and out of the way, see it here, only $50 with shipping.

I'm satisfied with it as an arm rest, but it doesn't have a lot of storage room inside. It looks good and is fairly well made and is easy to "install"... it sits in the cup holder. I ended up screwing it down into the bottom of the cup holder so that it doesn't come loose if you pull up on it, but if you are completely handy-limited, you could just put it in and it would still work OK.

Wow! Not bad at all. the more expensive Honda OEM armrest doesn't hold much in the storage compartment, so yours sound pretty good at a reduced price. Nice find! Obviously, the "leather" claim is false, but so are all of the others.

I posted about this back in December on this thread about arm rests (click here).
I've had it about two months and so far it's held up well, even with me leaning on it heavily getting in and out of the car. The "leather" and padding look quite nice and are quite comfortable to lean on while driving and it slides forward for more arm support, though the sliding action is a bit too easy. Only alteration I plan to make is to put some shims in the post that goes into the cup holder as there is a bit of play and it doesn't feel solid, even though it's screwed in.

This obviously isn't as good quality as the OEM unit talked about, but it's a much easier install and for the price, $50 with shipping, which was quite prompt, you can't beat it.

PS: the sort of silly looking chromed thing in the back is a cup holder. They have a cigarette ash trey to replace it but it isn't included and I don't smoke.
