I have nearly 60k on my 2010 Sport MT. I bought it new at the beginning of 2011 for 15K TEEHEE.

I have been doing my oil per the MM at 15% or 30% if I have time. Oil always seems to look pretty good for the miles it stretches.

I have replaced wiper inserts once (4 bucks from the dealer ).

Intake filter 3 times

Cabin filter 3 times (always smells musty from car washing )

Tires have been changed once and I got like 25k out of the OEM. I replaced them with
195s Bridgstone Ecopia with 80k warranty (LOLOLOL 80k) They will be done before they have 40k on them and they feel squirrelly on corners. Increased body roll. Do not recommend these tires unless you are a grandpa driving once a week.

I just bought a set of 205 45 17s Pirelli Neros for Buddy Club P1s So Ill save there.

I havent noticed any change with the clutch or anything other than a creaking noise that comes from the push rod that goes through the firewall (I put lithium grease on it before, but it came back so I figure I need something stickier)

The clutch has always been very touchy and sometimes I bog into first gear or lurch a bit even after having the car for 2 years. I dunno if this will have much affect on the clutch, but I still do this from time to time and its obnoxious.

Brakes look like they are still new almost, but I dont brake hard.

I was told by a shop that my drum brakes needed adjusted, but I havent checked them to see because its cold out.

Sometimes I hear a bit of piston slap or chatter or motor noise on cold mornings when I first start it up, but I think thats just it being a single cam.

I also notice noise from the struts when I drive over bumps (it is cold outside usually below freezing this time of year so could be that)

Still drives straight and is on the original factory alignment. Tires seem to wear normally.

I thought I saw a good bit of rust on the exhaust at the car wash, but it was sorta dark and I am paranoid.

My door panel has a crack in it (not visible but felt) from leaning my arm on it.

My factory battery will need replaced after this summer (it almost didnt start a few times this past winter and I blame the dealer for letting the car sit for almost a year. I have an ECU charger that I tried to train it back up with )

Those are all the things I noticed that other people might experience. I have other issues but they are seemingly self inflicted

purchased new in July of 2008, and sitting at 94,800 miles today. Car has never been back to the shop.

Of course, it just started running like crap...but I'm close to resolving that one on my own. Regular maintenance (following the maintenance minder) is all i'd done up to this current issue.

I saw on a high mileage thread from the 1st gen fits that someone cleared 293,000.

Anyone top 200,000 with a 2nd gen?

Just coming up on 40k in my 2011 base (picked it up 4/20/11, so should be almost 2 years to the day for 40k if I don't do any road trips before then.)

Dropped the stock tires after the first winter (I run snows and those stock tires were not going back on the car.) A few simple mods to my taste as well as a CDV delete. Going to order a progress rear swaybar soon (debating between swift springs or going whole hog and getting the bilstien pss9 kit). Standard oil changes and folowing the maintinence minder for everything else.

Only issues were the HVAC fan resistor pack going out under warentee and watter getting in the transmition at about 10k miles (very rainy october of 2011, drove through watter too deep). Replaced the transmition fluid and it has been fine ever since.

Hit 220k today

My 07 Fit turned 220k today just 4 weeks short of 8 years- purchased April 06. Still runs great. Oil/filter changes every 5k, trans fluid changes every 60 k, coolant 125k, spark plugs 110k (just installed 2nd set), coil packs 115k (all four- no stutter since), brake pads 60k, rotors 120k, 4 sets of tires, 4 batteries. Considering shock/struts??? Aiming for 300k!!!

I am surprised it's burning "a bit" of oil at such a long interval. 5w20 or 0w20 are as thin as water, stretching it to 10000 miles between changes is rough on the engine internals. No wonder yours burns oil.

I change mine at around 5-6K and it never burns even a bit (on both cars) with one having 65 000 on the odometer.

167k on my '10 Sport 5sp... AC flush/refill at 137k, Wheel bearing at 146k, Plugs at 100k. This is a commuter car, no crazy mods to it as I need it to be reliable.

2012 Honda Fit - 315,000 miles and counting

Old thread, but maybe someone is still reading it. I have over 315,000 miles on my 2012 Honda Fit Sport and planning to go to at least 400,000 miles. It still runs great, but it is starting to clatter pretty loudly when I first start it up. After the engine warms up for a few minutes it quiets down. It doesn't seem to affect performance or gas mileage other than the clattering noise at first startup. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if it's just the valves clattering from wear and tear, or if it may have something to do with the VTEC actuator. I've tried running higher octane gas and it doesn't seem to make a difference, which seems to indicate that maybe it's not valve wear.

Have you adjusted the valves? These cars need the valve adjustment periodically.

I'm ashamed to say I have not. I'll get that done and see if it helps. Thanks for the reply!
