Would bilstein pss be good for my 2 months little daughter?

Yesterday I took a ride as a passenger on the back seat, next to my child. I could see her jump at every pot hole...
The ride was very bouncy.. I read only positive feedbacks about bilsteins but will be an improvement for my baby??

Sounds like you just need to strap her in tighter?

A stock Fit isn't too stiff/bouncy to carry an infant in.

 

I have a story to share.

When my brother's son (nephew) of infant age (5months?) came to visit, I offered him either the Sport fit with tires at 35psi, or a Lexus LS430 for the week they were here to do errands (of commercial fame of being so smooth and balanced it can rev to 5000rpm with a pyramid of champagne glasses on the hood).

After some trials with either car, they actually preferred the Fit, as the bouncing and vibration puts the little one to sleep, while the Lexus was too smooth. Once in awhile they had to strap him in and go for a drive up and down the freeway to stop the crying. (like the old trick of sticking the baby on a washing machine).

So I don't know if the bilstein is too stiff for you as the driver; but as far as the infant go, getting vibrated and shaken actually will put them to sleep. So don't worry about giving infants smooth rides, they prefer the vibration/rocking and getting moved about (well as best as they communicate back to us by not crying anymore).

 

Well, looking to my daughter, I noticed she wasn't exactly relaxed when cruising.. maybe my jazz is not too stiff, but surely it is stiff.
This is my opinion as a driver, too.

I read in this forum that bilsteins PSS are "stiff but way smoother than stock".. I'm trying to figure out if they will be acceptable for my child..

 

which year do you have? cause my 09 is considerably more bouncy than my 12 in stock form.

i currently run swift springs on my 12 and feels great. smooth. i can drive over railroad crossings with rest of traffic.

 

I have a 2011 jazz hybrid cvt. Now I'm back on 15 tyres, but this is only a small improvement compared to 16.
Suspensions can't copy road imperfections, morover springs seems to push up the car and cause rebounce. I took off a shock from the car and could notice that they have a strange setting compared to another little car of mine (vw polo), they feel too stiff in compression and loose in extension.. I'm looking for more body-motion control.
