Smile OEM accessory A/T shift knob install

Stupid question....

I am ordering this shift knob and was looking at the instructions:
http://www.collegehillshonda.com/ins...cshiftknob.pdf

Step 2 indicates the need to insert a key into an opening near the shift lever, what key is this? as it does not seem to come with the package? What is the purpose of this key?

Thanks

It's literally just your car key. It just unlocks shifter so you can take it out of park without the car on, however you can do it by just turning the car on, throwing it in neutral, then turning it back off. It just won't allow you to take the key out.

Car key, screw driver, house key, etc. It lets you move the shift knob out of park without turning the car on and having the key in the ignition.

... Or just put the key to the ON position, press the brake and shift it into Neutral/Drive/Sport. All the slot is for is to access the shift interlock release.
