steering wheel airbag Deploy
Hello all, I am new to this forum just sold my RSX-S and got a 2009 fit with driver side front steering wheel airbag deployed due to a minor accident. I hope that some of you can advise me on what to replaced or change in order to have the car SRS working normal again.
I order the airbag used and the Seat belt Retractor and Bucket. I called my local Honda dealer and they price me for the 2 front impact sensors at $140 each plus the SRS computer or module? for I think $500. I can buy the Module used online.
but my questions are
Is there a module for each airbag?
Once I get it does it need to be reprogramed to work properly with my car?
Do I really need the impact sensor?
P-s when I looked online for the module there were a lot of diff kinds with a lot of word abbreviations that only made me more confused. My car is an 2009 Honda fit sport Automatic Trami.

Thank god you didn't have a rear passenger steering wheel airbag deploy, those are a bitch to repair sorry, couldn't help it
here's a thread on fitfreak about someone who bought a totalled GE and repaired it. I believe you can have the airbag module flashed/reset so that you don't have to buy a new one. I dunno if it's safe to do so so I'd do some research on the web about it first. Best of luck
