Show off your accessories

I just purchased a 2010 Sport and want to buy some mats (front, rear and cargo area), window deflectors, and possibly a wind deflector for the front. I am also planning on having my windows tinted and a remote starter installed. If you have any of these accessories or any other ones such as eye lids, smoked tail / head lights, roof racks, bike racks etc...post pics of them here along with a description, how much they cost and whether or not you would recommend them to someone else (and why).

Thanks!
SS

Well I purchased the Husky floor mats. I somewhat regretted it after these other fancy floor mats were out (3d something brand???) but now that it has rained a little, I'm glad I have rubber and not carpet. So easy to keep clean.

I am going to do some functional mods to my fit. Solar tint, as dark as legally possible to keep the sun off of me, the ac condenser protection, to protect my $800 ac condenser, and I'd like a clear bra since I do a lot of long road trips, but they can be pricey. As I said these are for functionality...

I got the window deflectors from the dealership, I really like them. They hang pretty low too. They are nothing like those cheap 3M adhesive kind and they don't stick way out like some do.
It's really nice parked on a hot day to just crack all 4 windows so the car is not so hot when I return and not worry about the rain or drive in the rain on a humid day with the windows cracked. I'll never own another vehicle without them that's for sure.

I was looking at your photos of the window deflectors and they look really cool. Do they rub on the black plastic door pillars?...because they look like they practiacally resting on it. Also...are they see through at all? If not...how is the visibility out the side windows with them in place?

The deflectors don't rub. Anywhere there isn't adhesive on the deflectors, Honda put a small strip of foam. They are see through and visibility is fine. I find them to very quiet at highway speeds as well.

One huge plus of having the deflectors is; they block out the sun at the highest point of the window.

This has been awesome for me when driving in the morning and afternoon. The driver's side visor really can't do that and is pretty much useless.

Wait...there is adhesive on them? Where does the adhesive attach to...the paint? I prefer the kind that just slip into the window frame. Good to know.

Does not attach to paint. Attaches to door frame. It uses an adhesive and bracket system to attach. Made to fit the vehicle like OEM. I've seen the Weathertech's on the Fit and didn't like the look. The OEM's look very sleek and are made to fit the vehicle. The Weathertech's fit into the front channel. They also fit in the rear, but it uses adhesive there to hold it in place.

Is there any way you can send me a photo of how they attach to the car? If it's a big hassel don't worry about it.

That's a little disappointing that they cover up the same place the pillar trim would. I never planned to get the pillar trim because it didn't feel to me like it matched the exterior (Sapp Blue with black accents), but I wanted something to keep the inevitable fingerprints off the trim.

I'm not going to go overboard on modding mine but I'm definitely going to have some fun with it, so keep me posted on what you end up doing, Shank. I've got a sharkfin antenna on the way and I'll probably get a FitFreak frame for my rear, so if you see me around in the North Shore, you might recognize me!
