I found a set of the JDM spec mugen floor mats for the 2013 Fit ($197 on Rakuten) and was told my King Motorsports on the phone that the floor mats would not fit. I am really trying to understand why these mats would not fit my car. Could someone please explain to me why they would not fit. I know 100% the back ones would but what about the front? please help, I really like these mats.

i understand that part. but beside that, isn't the pedal and floor setup the same.

 

mirror wise probably, but that means u will have to flip ur JDM RHD floor mats over... defeats the purpose

 

but if the dummy pedal is in the exact spot which it is and the 2 holding pins as well why would i have to do that? sorry if i'm being stubborn i'm really trying to understand why?

 

on a usdm fit, the floor mats on the left side are cut to go around the pedals on the LEFT side.

on a JDM fit, the floor mats on the right side are cut to go around the pedals on the RIGHT side.

passenger side mats are cut to conform around the whole floor without pedals.

now take a JDM passenger side (LEFT) and place it in a USDM driver side (LEFT), it won't fit because the pedals will get in the way. unless u want to cut it.

 

Too bad because those mats are sick!

The bracket should be the same. Just maje sure the curvature u buy is the same for the left and right.
