$3 A/C condenser grill

While at my local True Value hdw. store, I found a 6" x 36" plastic gutter guard, that worked great as an a/c condenser grill. It was less than $3.
I think it looks good also. Just hope it doesn't cut down on the a/c. I know a rock thru the condenser would!

How did you attach it? Did you use the visible zip tie method? That's the only thing that has stopped me from putting one on my Fit. If somebody comes up with an invisible or very clean stock looking mounting method then I'm in like Flynn.

The grill is zip tied to the 8 uprights in the grill area. I don't even notice them, when looking at the grill. Being a pmm color, the black ties don't show much.
If you look close at the lower uprights, you can see the ties. I couldn't put the ties at the top of those uprights, as they have a side web, for strength at that point, and the ties were more noticeable.
After snipping the area between 2 holes in the grill, in 4 places, for the tabs, that it has to fit over, they hold the grill in place a bit. I think some hot glue in a bunch of places might be all that is needed to hold it.

Hot glue dabs should work great as there is nothing forcing them forward all the force coming from the front is pushing then inward towards the radiator.
