While doing the 3M fuel system kit treatment on my '09 Fit this past weekend, I couldn't find the right size 1/4" drive socket (buried in some pile of crap) for the tiny band clamp bolt that secures the intake hose on the throttle body. Looked it up but doesn't give the head size. P/N lists as 90005-RGA-000 BOLT, CLAMP (4X25). The Phillips slot on it is smaller than normal and a screwdriver kinda slips and I don't wanna butcher it up (not that I'm in there that often). Tried a 5mm (too small) & 1/4" (too big) that's all I got at the moment. College Hills Honda tech thinks it might be 5.5mm, but not sure. Either that or maybe 7/32"? Would someone test theirs and lemme know? Then I can ebay the right size for my tools.

7/32" = .218" = 5.55mm
15/64 = .234" = 6mm

 

8mm. Everything on the car is metric being that it's a Japanese produced automobile. Edit may bad, it's not an 8mm. Just use a screwdriver to loosen the clamp

 

Found out a 7/32" fits nicely, which is .21875", .0022" larger than 5.5 mm. I'll get a small socket set for these occasional tiny bits.
