Guys, I need help in making my custom made floor bracket for Honda Jazz/Fit GE armrest. I saw several person using this kind of armrest and I would like to know the measurement of the floor bracket. I bought this used armrest last 2 days from Japan and sadly it did not come with floor bracket. Here is the picture that I am referring to.

 

Make a prototype out of cardboard. Cut a chunk and put it down into the cavity. Check where the holes go and have one made or take your prototype and trace it on your steel and cut away everything that doesn't look like the bracket.

Or easier just wrap a piece of cardboard around the bottom of the arm rest punch out the holes and transfer to some steel.

 

or ask the guy you bought it from to send you the bracket.

 

Last night, my friend and I work harder pull out the center console and do the math to come out with custom made floor bracket. Hopefully the armrest can be installed this week. Thank guys especially loudbang.

 

Did you happen to record the dimensions of the bracket? I'm in the same boat. Ordered the armrest, but no floor bracket or mounting hardware.
