Anyone install a Maestro iDatalink ADS-MSW steering wheel control module?

I am having a hard time trying to wire it into my car.

The instructions are very vague.

It only has 4 wires it states to connect - in which I have. And nothing happens.

purple/red, black/white, red, black.

then I plugged the other cable directly into my Pioneer head unit.

And nothing.

Suggestion, Call tech support. They are usually very helpful. They can tell you exactly how to install it. A good tech support has wiring diagrams at their disposal.
