Hello,

I am in the market for a commuter car due to my office being a 140 mile R/T commute from home. The good news is, my job requires extensive travel, so I only go to the office about 8-10 days per month, but regardless, the Explorer gets 13mpg so I need to do something.

Right now, I am looking at a 2008 Fit Sport MT and a 2009 Fit Base MT. Both are milano red, both have the same mileage and the 2009 is about $500 more. Any thoughts as to which one I should get? I know the sport has a few extras, however it seems the redesign added some nice features, even in the base model. any ideas?

 

It sounds like you're leaning towards the newer 2009 model as you're mentioning the nicer features on it. I noticed this post is over a week old. Did you make your decision already?
