2009 FIT Sport Passenger Fog Lamp Lens Needed...

Hey Folks,

Well had the car a week and need a lens for the passenger side, any tips on where to buy one and whats a good price? Do they even sell just a lens?

Thanks for any advice....

you can buy the replacement fog light assembly for about $80, such as TYC brand. Then there are also threads to buy either headlightarmor / ppf, or actually use some metal or plastic mesh screening to protect the lamps from further impacts.

If you're thinking only OEM for me, because it is the best, well apparently the OEM ones break pretty easily, so they aren't all that great...

There is also a thread about doing a DIY to replace the lens itself, but involves hobby work to cut a piece of lexan/plexiglass and some ungluing and regluing. Search on fog lights for it. If your time and effort is worth saving the difference from $80->$10 in materials then you can do that instead.

Rockauto sells just the glass lens replacements w/o having to buy the whole fog assembly. Been meaning to order it one of these days.
I think there was a thread on it.
